Sat14th / 15th -ANNUAL MOONRAKER CHARITY WALK
Langley and Iver Rotary Club's 26th Annual Moonraker overnight orienteering charity walk.
Teams start out from the control point at Whiteleaf Picnic area near Monks Risborough from 19.00
A 10 mile sponsored walk through the Chilterns - entrants have to answer a set of questions to find their route.
The walk will take a maximum of 6 hours and is supported by several check points,
first aid being provided by St Johns Ambulance and radio communication by Raynet.

Stoke Poges Memorial Gardens - Unique 20-acre Grade II registered garden constructed 1934-9.
Rock and water gardens, sunken colonnade, rose garden incl 500 individual gated gardens.
Spring garden, bulbs, wisteria, rhododendrons. Recently completed £1m renovation

South Midlands Orienteering Club - orienteering at the Shenley Wood, Milton Keynes
Suitable for both beginners and more experienced orienteers and runners.
If you havent tried orienteering before someone will be available to explain the basics
and point you in the right direction.
No special equipment is needed and just wear what you would for a walk (or run) in the park.
Start anytime between 10:00 and 12:00. Courses close at 13:00. Individuals and Families £3.
Groups containing more than 2 adults £5. SMOC members receive a £1 rebate. Extra maps £1 -map swap free

Sat 28th - THE BIG YELLOW WALK
Children and their parents are invited to join us at the West Wycombe Estate for our Big Yellow Walk
for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The walk will take place in the grounds of the West Wycome Estate and finish
at the Hellfire Caves. It will take around one and a half hours and include a fancy dress competition
with the theme Yellow and a family quiz. Adults £10. Children over 5 £5. Target sponsorship of £15.

Walled garden, small ornamental canal and rill with gazebo, lovely herbaceous borders with some unusual plants,
topiaried trees and wide lawns. Winding walks through old orchard and over ancient bowling green.
